Children's Liturgy of the Word

Every 10:00 am Mass that is NOT a Family Mass, we invite all children from 4 - 10 years old to join us for Children's Liturgy of the Word (better known as CLOW) in the Lady Chapel.  The children hear the readings on their level and discuss the meaning with the teen in charge.  They recite the Creed and offer petitions then return to their parents at the offertory.

This year we have an awesome and very committed High School student, Maria Frech (mariamfrech@gmail.com) who will be taking ownership of this wonderful ministry.  I would like to have 8th graders or high school students assist her each time we have CLOW.  The assistants would help Maria keep the kids on task, perhaps read one or both of the readings to the children and be there as extra eyes and ears.

Contact Mary Jane Sullivan (maryjane@stjosaphatparish.org) for brief training, then sign up here:  schedule for volunteers.
