Hi Sue,

Thank you for the email, but there is no longer an alumni mass.  Amy received some feedback from other parishes that their alumni masses were not well attended.  We discussed it in the April School Board Meeting with Father Carlos and might have mentioned it to Tina also, but should have followed up with you; I'm sorry.

Amy and Mrs. Schekirke have planned a smaller, targeted alumni event for the SJS Class of 2020 on Tuesday late afternoon, June 4, in the SJ Community Park.  It is invite-only for former students - no parents/family.  All of these students have recently graduated and many have received college acceptance letters.  So it's a bit of a celebration for their recent successes and a nice opportunity for them to catch up with one another before they head to college in the Fall.

I do not think Amy and Mrs. Schekirke want the event publicized to a mass audience, but I will let them weigh in.

In the event of rain, I assume it is moving to the SJS gym.
